論。以一切如來至入佛智故　述曰。次下轉釋斷三寶意。於中有二。初明佛寶依法而成。後顯僧寶依法而有。此初也。如來依此得涅槃者。明過現佛因法成果。菩薩因修入佛智者。顯未來佛以法為因。故謗法者斷佛種也。

[Treatise:] "Because all Tathāgatas […] enter the Buddha's wisdom." / [Exposition:] Next, it further explains the intent behind severing the Three Jewels. There are two parts here: first, explaining that the Buddha jewel is accomplished by relying on the Dharma; later, showing that the Saṅgha jewel exists by relying on the Dharma. This is the first. In "the Tathāgatas attain nirvāṇa by relying on this," this explains that the past and present Buddhas take the Dharma as cause to achieve the fruition. In "the bodhisattvas enter the Buddha's wisdom through cultivation," this shows that future Buddhas take the Dharma as cause. Therefore, one who slanders the Dharma severs the seed of the Buddha.
