[Treatise:] All conceptualizations ... thought-moment to thought-moment unceasing. [Exposition:] This is departing from the inverted mind. "All conceptualizations are eliminated following thought": this eliminates conceptualizing thoughts of the internal mind. Although it previously made one depart from apprehending the marks of inverted objects, if the internal mind remains, it is also a false inversion. Therefore, with all conceptualizations of the internal mind, as soon as a thought arises, it is eliminated. "Also eliminating the thought of elimination": this eliminates the deluded thought that can [eliminate]. Previously, it directed one to depart from thought and stated that thoughts are all eliminated; this did not mean that there exists a thought capable of eliminating. If the thought of elimination remains, it is also not free of marks; therefore, one also eliminates the thought capable of eliminating. From "Because all [dharmas]" onward, it explains the reason why one also eliminates the capable: because all dharmas originally have nothing to be conceptualized and have no substance that arises and ceases thought-moment to thought-moment. Since the thought to be eliminated is unobtainable, how could one further preserve the thought capable of eliminating?
