3.43

論。六者業繫至自在故　釋曰。業因既成。依業受果。被業所繫。不得自在。循環受苦。名業繫苦。故言依業受果不自在等。

[Treatise:] Sixth is the suffering bound by karma [… down to …] because of not being autonomous.
[Commentary:] Once the karmic causes are accomplished, one receives retribution in accordance with karma, is bound by karma, does not attain autonomy, and experiences suffering cyclically; this is named 'suffering bound by karma'. Therefore it says: 'receiving retribution based on karma, not being autonomous,' and so forth.
