4.133

論。五者聞修至得涅槃　釋曰。此第五我見之中初起執之由也。即阿毘達磨經頌說云。無始時來界一切法等依由此有諸趣及涅槃。證得界是性義。同寂性釋與唯識論所釋稍別。

[Treatise:] Fifth, hearing that [the sūtras teach that dependent on the tathāgatagarbha there is saṃsāra, and dependent on the tathāgatagarbha one] attains nirvāṇa—
[Commentary:] "Explication": Under this fifth view of self, it first explains the origin of the arising of attachment. That is, a verse in the *Abhidharmasūtra* says: "The beginningless realm is the common support of all dharmas; because of this there are all destinies and the attainment of nirvāṇa." "Realm" (*dhātu*) has the meaning of "nature", an explanation shared with quiescent nature, which is slightly different from the explanation given in the *Vijñaptimātratāsiddhi*.
