4.15

論。復次分別至有二種　釋曰。上釋生滅因緣義竟。次生滅相。於中有三。初舉數總標。二列名略顯。三廣釋其相。此初也。辨立義中。是生滅相故言分別生滅相等。

Treatise: "Furthermore, distinguishing [...] there are two kinds." Commentary: The explanation of the causes and conditions of arising and ceasing above is concluded. Next are the characteristics of arising and ceasing. Herein there are three parts: first, stating the number and general designation; second, listing the names and briefly indicating them; third, extensively explaining their characteristics. This is the first. In establishing the doctrine, these are the characteristics of arising and ceasing; hence it says, "distinguishing the characteristics of arising and ceasing," and so on.
