論。云何熏習起染法不斷　釋曰。次下別明熏習之相。於中有二。先染。後淨。染中亦二。先問。後答。此初也。

[Treatise:] How does perfuming give rise to defiled phenomena without interruption?
[Commentary:] Next is the specific clarification of the characteristics of perfuming. Herein there are two: first defilement, then purity. Within defilement there are also two: first the question, then the answer. This is the first.
