5.73

論。若從坐起至隨順觀察　釋曰。此□顯□儀亦修止也。非□□坐時常修此止。餘一切時常思方便。順於法性不動道理。小乘事靜坐所成。大乘修理行住皆定故□□□□修止也。

Treatise: "If one rises from sitting... accord with and observe it."
Commentary: This [...] shows that during [...] deportments one also practices calming. It is not [...] only when sitting that one constantly practices this calming; at all other times one should constantly reflect on expedient means that accord with the unmoving principle of dharmatā. The Hinayāna's concrete [calming] is accomplished in quiet sitting; the Mahāyāna's cultivation of principle is absorption in walking and staying alike. Therefore [...] practices calming.
