[Treatise:] "All such afflictions [...] can know it." [Commentary:] This concludes and clarifies the inequality. Both kinds of afflictions are arisen based on avidyā. Because fundamental avidyā has many differences, the natures of such afflictions have immeasurable differences. If not the Buddha's cognition, who else could know them? Because of these differences in the nature of afflictions, it causes differences in earlier and later regarding faith and the like. The new translation agrees with this; its text is concise and its meaning complete.
