[Treatise:] Such merits [are all perfumed and accomplished by the transcendent practices and the inconceivable perfusion; possessed of immeasurable characteristics of bliss, therefore it is spoken of] as the saṃbhogakāya. [Commentary:] This concludes the fruit as stemming from the cause to explain the name 'saṃbhoga' (retribution). Such marks of retribution in primary and secondary merit are unobstructed and unhindered. These inconceivable matters are all accomplished through the perfusion of the deep practice of the ten pāramitās and through the two causes, internal and external, of the inconceivable perfusion of original awakening; being complete with marks of bliss, it is called saṃbhoga.
