Regarding "inviting in and inquiring after well-being": in the Yogācārabhūmi, it first clarifies inquiring after well-being and only then inviting forward. Thus its text says: "Or inquiring whether they are peaceful and auspicious; or inquiring whether their humours are well-attuned; or inquiring whether day and night they are cheerful and joyful; or inviting them forward, saying 'Welcome.'" In actual truth and principle, one should first invite forward and only then inquire after well-being; the Yogācārabhūmi simply relies on the Western idiom.
