1.13

修勝理觀等者。觀一切法無常苦空無我等故名勝理觀。起此觀行名上妙行。非謂依觀別起妙行。

'Cultivating superior contemplation of principle', and so forth: contemplating that all phenomena are impermanent, suffering, empty, and non-self, it is called 'superior contemplation of principle'. Giving rise to this contemplation practice is called 'supreme and wondrous practice'; it does not mean giving rise to a separate wondrous practice apart from the contemplation.
