雖觀身等四境無相等者。問。若未除障何假須修。復何故說能除四倒。答。且息四倒不起愛增染淨之業。而未即能除彼能起二根本障。故懈怠等障未除也。
Regarding 'Although one contemplates the four objects of the body and so forth as markless,' etc.: Question: If one has not yet eliminated the hindrances, what need is there to cultivate? Furthermore, why is it said that one can eliminate the four inversions? Answer: For the time being, one brings the four inversions to rest and does not give rise to karma of attachment or aversion, defilement or purity; however, one is not yet immediately able to eliminate those two fundamental hindrances capable of giving rise to them. Therefore, hindrances such as indolence have not yet been eliminated.
