於自盛事等者。謂即種姓端嚴財寶多聞持戒門徒眷屬。乃至在身一切勝事。皆名盛事。

Regarding "toward one's own prosperous affairs" and so forth: this means one's lineage, dignity, wealth, vast learning, keeping of precepts, disciples, and retinue, up to all superior matters present in oneself—all are called prosperous affairs.
