然瑜伽云能遠證入無缺無間無相作意者。非缺間言顯功用義。無缺無間意說常在無相觀中。何妨常起作意住也。

However, where the Yogācārabhūmi says, "can farsightedly realize and enter signless mental engagement without deficiency and without interruption," the words "deficiency" and "interruption" do not indicate the meaning of exertion. "Without deficiency and without interruption" means constantly remaining in the signless contemplation; what is there to prevent constantly generating mental engagement and abiding [in it]?
