1.58

無相之行逾於等者。前三地行施戒定相同世間。次之三地得增上慧相同二乘。今至無相功用後邊。已過世間及二乘道。能於定中起有勝行。是故此地名遠行地也。

As for "the practice of the signless surpasses, etc.": in the first three bhūmis, the practices of giving, morality, and absorption share their marks with the worldly [levels]. In the next three bhūmis, obtaining higher wisdom shares marks with the two vehicles. Now, arriving at the final phase of signless exertion, one has already surpassed the worldly and two-vehicle paths, and can generate superior practices within concentration. Therefore, this bhūmi is named the Far-Reaching Bhūmi.
