前之八門是因。此第九門是果。猶前修因必招其果。為修因時。不惜身命。勇猛精進。念佛誦經。稱讚大乘。願生淨土。臨終一念。彼佛來迎。剎那之間。往生彼國。到彼國已。具六神通。即悟無生。而神遊自在隨根廣運。化導群情。皆令疾證菩提。咸歸解脫者耳。即是化生門竟。

The preceding eight gates are the cause; this ninth gate is the effect. Just as the earlier cultivation of causes inevitably brings forth its result, when cultivating the causes, one did not spare body or life, was valiant and diligent, reciting the Buddha's name and chanting sūtras, praising the Mahāyāna, and aspiring to be born in the Pure Land. In the single thought-moment at the end of life, that Buddha comes to welcome them; in the space of a kṣaṇa, they are reborn in that land. Having arrived in that land, they are endowed with the six supernormal powers, immediately awakening to the unborn, roaming spiritually at ease, broadly applying themselves according to beings' capacities to guide and transform the multitudes, causing all to swiftly realize bodhi and return to liberation. This concludes the Gate of Transformational Birth.
