又舍利弗。極樂國土。有七寶池。八功德水。充滿其中。池底純以金沙布地。四邊階道。金銀瑠璃頗梨合成。上有樓閣。亦以金銀瑠璃頗梨車𤦲赤珠馬瑙而嚴飾之。池中蓮華。大如車輪。青色青光。黃色黃光。赤色赤光。白色白光。微妙香潔。舍利弗。極樂國土。成就如是功德莊嚴。

"Moreover, Śāriputra, the land of Sukhāvatī has ponds of the seven jewels filled with water of eight virtues. The bottoms of the ponds are spread purely with golden sand. The stairways on the four sides are composed of gold, silver, lapis lazuli, and crystal. Above are multistoried pavilions, likewise adorned with gold, silver, lapis lazuli, crystal, giant clam, red pearl, and agate. The lotus blossoms in the ponds are as large as chariot wheels—the blue ones radiating blue light, the yellow ones radiating yellow light, the red ones radiating red light, and the white ones radiating white light—subtle, wonderful, fragrant, and pure. Śāriputra, the land of Sukhāvatī is accomplished with such virtues and adornments as these.
