The Tathāgata's teaching of the Dharma is fundamentally without duality; / it is only that sentient beings' minds are not even. / Cultivating dhyāna, the intention arises and the dhyāna mind becomes pure; / reciting the Buddha's name, one seeks only for transformation Buddhas to welcome. / One drives a cart running on a mountain; / one boards a boat travelling on the water. / Although mountains and waters differ in height and depth, / in the principle of accomplishing merit, both are equal.
