六根懺　我等自從無量劫恒被六賊欺。居一相之中而共生分別。眼根常愛色。耳分別音聲。鼻惑著餘香。舌鎮貪諸味。身常樂受觸。意相遍攀緣。猶斯顛倒心固。沈輪生死海。懺悔已歸命禮三　願我等從今日乃至證菩提。六賊恒為成六通。三毒變為三解脫。同一真如平等惺。不捨生死證涅槃。恒於六趣濟群生。共證如來無上道。

Repentance of the six sense faculties:
From immeasurable kalpas onward, we have constantly been deceived by the six thieves. Abiding within the single characteristic, we jointly give rise to conceptual discriminations: the eye faculty constantly loves forms, the ear discriminates sounds, the nose is deluded by and clings to lingering fragrances, the tongue perpetually craves various tastes, the body constantly delights in experiencing tangibles, and the mental marks broadly grasp at conditioned objects. Due to such upside-down minds remaining firm, we sink and cycle in the ocean of birth and death. Having repented, I take refuge and pay homage to the Three [Jewels].
May we, from this day forth until the realization of bodhi, have the six thieves perpetually become the six supernormal powers, the three poisons transform into the three liberations, and awaken equally to the single True Suchness; not abandoning birth and death yet realizing nirvāṇa, constantly deliver the multitude of beings in the six destinies, and together realize the unsurpassed Way of the Tathāgata.
