志心發願　願我眼根常見佛。願耳恒聞說法聲。願鼻不嗅一餘香。願口常誦波羅蜜。願身不染諸邪境。願意不攀有相緣。願心能除煩惱賊。願我恒到涅槃城。我願眾生盡成佛。我願普證涅槃因。發願已歸命禮三寶　眾生無邊誓願度。煩惱無邊誓願斷。法門無盡誓願學。無上佛道誓願成。

With sincere mind, making vows:
"May my eye faculty constantly see the Buddha;
May my ear perpetually hear the sound of the Dharma being preached;
May my nose not smell any lingering fragrances;
May my mouth constantly recite the pāramitās;
May my body not be stained by any evil realms;
May my mind not grasp at conditioned objects with marks;
May my mind be able to eradicate the thieves of affliction;
May I constantly arrive at the city of nirvāṇa;
I vow that sentient beings shall all become Buddhas;
I vow to universally realize the cause of nirvāṇa."
Having made vows, I take refuge and pay homage to the Three Jewels.
Sentient beings are boundless: I vow to deliver them.
Afflictions are boundless: I vow to sever them.
Dharma gates are inexhaustible: I vow to learn them.
The unsurpassed Buddha Way: I vow to achieve it.
