2.20

善男子。復有四法。善化眾生。何等為四。一者常求利安眾生。二者自捨己樂。三者和柔忍辱。四者能除高慢。是名為四。

"Good son, there are furthermore four dharmas by which one skillfully transforms sentient beings. What are the four? First, constantly seeking to benefit and bring peace to sentient beings; second, renouncing one's own pleasure; third, being gentle, compliant, and patient; fourth, being able to eliminate arrogance. These are named the four.
