大通方廣懺悔滅罪莊嚴成佛經 3.1

爾時。釋迦牟尼佛因信相菩薩。為一切眾生及自己身。問諸佛名。佛說十方三世諸佛十二部經大菩薩僧已。復欲大師子吼。師子吼者。名決定說。決定說者。明知如來。常住不滅。并說眾生。盡有佛性。諸魔怖畏。外道歸伏故。是名師子吼。如是顯說已。舌遍覆三千大千世界。一切世界。六種震動。六種震動者。東涌西沒。西涌東沒。南涌北沒。北涌南沒。中涌邊沒。邊涌中沒。是名六種震動。復從舌根放大光明。大光普照。大光普照者。轉無常以為常。轉不淨以為淨。轉苦以為樂。轉無明以為明。爾時。佛光所照之處。山林國土。江河大海。鐵圍山川。一切地獄。高下平正。皆悉清淨。無諸穢惡。猶如東方清淨莊嚴滿月世界。

At that time, because Bodhisattva *Faith-Sign (Xinxiang), for the sake of all sentient beings and himself, inquired about the names of all Buddhas, Śākyamuni Buddha, having spoken of the Buddhas of the ten directions and three times, the twelve divisions of scriptures, and the great bodhisattva Saṅgha, wished to roar the great lion's roar. The lion's roar means definitive speech. Definitive speech means clearly knowing that the Tathāgata is ever-abiding and unceasing, and declaring that sentient beings all possess the buddhadhātu, so that the māras are terrified and the tīrthikas submit; therefore it is called the lion's roar. Having thus clearly expounded it, his tongue covered the three-thousand great thousandfold world, and all worlds shook in six ways. Shaking in six ways means: rising in the east and sinking in the west; rising in the west and sinking in the east; rising in the south and sinking in the north; rising in the north and sinking in the south; rising in the middle and sinking at the edges; rising at the edges and sinking in the middle. These are called the six ways of shaking. Furthermore, from the base of his tongue he emitted a great light. The great light shone universally. Shining universally means turning the impermanent into the permanent, turning the impure into the pure, turning suffering into joy, and turning ignorance into brilliance. At that time, in the places illuminated by the Buddha's light, mountains, forests, lands, rivers, great oceans, the Iron Ring Mountains, rivers, and all hells, high and low became level, and all were pure without any defilement, just like the Pure Adorned Full Moon World of the east.
