3.26

佛告諸弟子。有罪欲懺悔。當如善見王。禮是三世佛。十二部尊經。諸大菩薩僧。一一心禮。亦如遭我相。值我相。見我相。見一佛相。二佛相。七佛相。見百佛相。千佛相。萬佛相。亦如見無量佛相。如是一一心禮。是人福德無量。滅除生死重罪。阿僧祇劫中。不墮三惡道。安住於佛道。決定無有疑。是故悔諸罪。至心諦信之。定得滅重罪。

The Buddha told the disciples: 'Those with sins who wish to make kṣamā should, like King Sudarśana, pay homage to these Buddhas of the three times, the twelve divisions of honored scriptures, and the Saṅgha of great bodhisattvas. Paying homage with a single mind, it is as though meeting my marks, encountering my marks, seeing my marks, seeing the marks of one Buddha, two Buddhas, seven Buddhas, seeing the marks of a hundred Buddhas, a thousand Buddhas, ten thousand Buddhas, and also like seeing the marks of immeasurable Buddhas. Paying homage with a single mind like this, this person's merit is immeasurable, eradicating the grave sins of birth and death; for asaṃkhyeya kalpas, they will not fall into the three evil paths, and will abide peacefully in the Buddha path, definitely without doubt. Therefore, repent all sins; believe it sincerely and truly with the utmost mind, and you will definitely attain the eradication of grave sins.'
