3.44

爾時所將三千人等。今皆成佛。初千人者。華光為首。中千人者。樓至為首。後千人者。彌勒為首。是故汝等。應當禮敬如是十方三世諸佛名號之者。汝於來世。當為大眾。開闡道教。廣濟群盲。令出三界。寂然閑居。安處道場。如我無異。

The three thousand people led at that time have now all become buddhas. Of the first thousand, Padmaprabha is the foremost. Of the middle thousand, Ruci is the foremost. Of the last thousand, Maitreya is the foremost. Therefore, you should revere and bow to the names of these buddhas of the ten directions and the three times. In future ages, you shall elucidate and proclaim the teachings of the Path for the great assembly, broadly rescuing the multitudes of the blind, causing them to leave the three realms, to dwell tranquilly in quietude, and to abide securely in the place of enlightenment, no different from me."
