3.49

佛說是經時。無量菩薩住不退不動地。八萬聲聞發大乘心。十千比丘得阿羅漢果。八萬四千天人得法眼淨。百千眾生發阿耨多羅三藐三菩提心。

When the Buddha expounded this sūtra, immeasurable bodhisattvas dwelled in the non-retrogressing, unmoving stage; eighty thousand śrāvakas generated the Mahāyāna aspiration; ten thousand bhikṣus attained the fruit of arhatship; eighty-four thousand gods and humans attained dharma-eye purification; and hundreds of thousands of sentient beings generated the aspiration for anuttarā samyaksambodhi.
