At that time, the Buddha said to Ākāśagarbha Bodhisattva: "Good man, you and the Tathāgata share the same understanding of the characteristics of dharmas; all spheres of cognition are unobstructed and unhindered. Good man, in the future there will be an eon named Purity, and a land named Joyous. In that land, all the great bodhisattvas will discuss the Mahāyāna, and from the beginning the names of the two vehicles will not be heard, let alone the other evil destinies. In that eon, you will become a Buddha named Pure Adornment Buddha, Tathāgata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha. Bodhisattvas from other realms and great directions will all go there to hear and receive the Mahāyāna Great Universal Vaipulya. Therefore, if any sentient beings hear the name of Ākāśagarbha Bodhisattva, prostrate, and make offerings, they will all be born in that Joyous World. If there are sentient beings who seek the Mahāyāna but have not yet attained anutpattikadharmakṣānti, and they uphold this sūtra, know that such people will, before ten Buddhas have passed, receive vyākaraṇa."
