1.8

如是等一切世界諸佛世尊。常住在世。是諸世尊當慈念我。若我此生。若於前生。從無始生死已來所作眾罪。若教他作見作隨喜。若塔若僧若四方僧物。若自取若教人取見取隨喜。或作五逆無間重罪。若自作若教他作見作隨喜。十不善道自作教他見作隨喜。所作罪障。或有覆藏。或不覆藏。應墮地獄餓鬼畜生及諸惡趣邊地下賤及彌戾車。如是等處所作罪障。今悉懺悔。今諸佛世尊當證知我。當憶念我。復於諸佛世尊前。作如是言。若我此生若於餘生。曾行布施。或守淨戒。乃至施與畜生一揣之食。或修淨行。所有善根成就眾生。所有善根修行菩提。所有善根及無上智。所有善根一切合聚校計籌量。皆悉廻向阿耨多羅三藐三菩提。如過去未來現在諸佛所作廻向。我亦如是廻向。

All such Buddhas, World-Honoured Ones of all worlds, constantly dwell in the world. May these World-Honoured Ones lovingly be mindful of me. Whatever sins I have committed in this life or in previous lives, from beginningless saṃsāra onwards—whether committed by myself, or caused others to commit, or rejoiced at seeing committed; whether concerning the property of a stūpa, or of the Saṅgha, or of the Saṅgha of the four directions, whether taken myself, or caused others to take, or rejoiced at seeing taken; or having committed the five grave sins of uninterrupted retribution, whether committed myself, or caused others to commit, or rejoiced at seeing committed; the ten unwholesome paths of action, whether done myself, or caused others to do, or rejoiced at seeing done—whatever sinful obstructions have been committed, whether concealed or not concealed, which should cause falling into the hells, hungry ghosts, animals, or all evil destinies, the borderlands, low-born states, or among mlecchas—such sinful obstructions committed in places like these, I now confess them all. May the Buddhas, World-Honoured Ones now witness and know me; may they be mindful of me. Furthermore, before the Buddhas, World-Honoured Ones, I speak thus: If in this life or in other lives I have practiced giving or guarded pure morality, down to giving a morsel of food to an animal, or practiced pure conduct—whatever roots of goodness there are for bringing sentient beings to fruition, whatever roots of goodness there are for cultivating awakening, whatever roots of goodness there are towards unsurpassed wisdom, all such roots of goodness gathered, calculated, and measured together, I dedicate them all to anuttarā-samyak-saṃbodhi. Just as the Buddhas of the past, future, and present have made dedications, I likewise make dedication.
