彌勒白佛言：「彼諸天人，常想、樂想、淨想、計我為我想，以是無有踐跡無踐跡也。」

Maitreya addressed the Buddha, saying: "Those devas harbor notions of permanence, notions of pleasure, notions of purity, and grasp at self as self. Therefore, there is neither treading of the path nor non-treading of the path."
