「如我今日在母胎中，與諸十方神通菩薩，說不退轉難有之法，亦以神通入天四生，入地獄四生、餓鬼四生、畜生四生，於四生中胎、化二生盡漏疾，濕生、卵生盡漏遲；化生、胎生是利根人，濕生、卵生是鈍根人。」

"Just as I today, dwelling within my mother's womb, speak the rare Dharma of non-retrogression together with the bodhisattvas of supernatural faculties from the ten directions, so too by supernatural faculties do I enter the four modes of birth among gods, enter the four modes of birth among hell-dwellers, the four modes of birth among hungry ghosts, and the four modes of birth among animals. Among the four modes of birth, womb-birth and apparitional birth exhaust defilements swiftly, while moisture-birth and egg-birth exhaust defilements slowly; those of apparitional birth and womb-birth are individuals of sharp faculties, while those of moisture-birth and egg-birth are individuals of dull faculties."
