佛告彌勒：「汝當知之！十號如來、應供、正遍知、明行足、善逝、世間解、無上士、調御丈夫、天人師、佛、世尊，唯佛知佛神識所念。」

The Buddha told Maitreya, "You should know this! Of the ten epithets—Tathāgata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, Vidyācaraṇasaṃpanna, Sugata, Lokavid, Anuttara, Puruṣadamyasārathi, Śāstādevamanuṣyāṇām, Buddha, Bhagavat—only a Buddha knows the thoughts of a Buddha's consciousness."
