「『摩納發大心，曠濟無數人；
弘誓不自為，殖眾功德本。
却後無數劫，五鼎五濁世；
成佛度眾生，號字釋迦文。
光相三十二，奇特人中尊；
受慧稱佛竟，地六反震動。
諸天世人民，見我得記別；
常想眾結滅，皆願生我世。』

"'Young man, you have aroused the great mind, / widely delivering countless people;
Your great vow is not for yourself, / planting the roots of many merits.
After countless kalpas from now, / in the world of five cauldrons and five turbidities,
You will become a Buddha to deliver sentient beings, / with the name Śākyamuni.
With the thirty-two marks of light, / the wondrous and extraordinary Venerable One among men;
Having received wisdom and been called a Buddha, / the earth will shake in six ways.
Seeing me receive the prophecy, / devas and people of the world,
With perpetual thoughts of the extinction of all bonds, / all vow to be born in my world.'"
