「吾昔一時左脇患風，使耆域令治。耆域言：『當須牛乳、象尿，舍利沙、畢鉢尸利沙、胡椒，煮以為湯，服之則差。』

"Once in the past, I suffered from a wind ailment in my left flank, and sent for Jīvaka to treat it. Jīvaka said: 'Cow's milk, elephant's urine, sarṣapa (mustard seed), pippalī-śīrṣa (long pepper), and black pepper should be boiled into a medicinal broth; upon taking it, you will recover.'"
