'Furthermore, the bodhisattva-mahāsattva, through supernatural concentration, enters the delight-in-dharma samādhi, causing all kinds of sentient beings in this trichiliocosm to come and take refuge, approaching the bodhisattva to request pravrajyā, cultivating the unsurpassed brahma-practice with unified resolve, shaving their hair and beards, donning the dharma robes, and receiving instructions according to the constant deportment and monastic precepts of all buddhas, whereby they can simultaneously abide on the stage of luminous wisdom. The stage of luminous wisdom is the practice of an eighth-abode bodhisattva, not something that can be cultivated by the two vehicles. This is what is evoked by the bodhisattva-mahāsattva's spiritual power.'
