7.16

"Mañjuśrī originally attained buddhahood, / and while in the womb manifested transformations. / His square body was ten thousand yojanas, / and the marks of his radiant light shone brilliantly. / His eyes were like blue lotuses; / his lips were as bright as pearls and fire. / Square and white were his forty teeth; / the blinking of his eyes met those above and below. / Devas, nāgas, and spirits / took refuge and paid homage with fragrant flowers. / Now I reside in this womb; / compared to that realm of yours, / [it does not match even] a hair's tip out of sixteen parts. / The Tathāgata's divine virtue and transformations / reach everywhere without obstruction. / The fragrance of his precepts spreads afar, / praised by all buddhas. / These present at this assembly now / wish to ask about rare teachings; / Soft-Headed One, manifest your power / and dispel their knots of doubt."
