30.186

「弟子！自從無始以來至于今日，或盜他財寶興刃強奪，或自怙恃身逼迫而取，或恃公威，或假勢力，高桁大械枉押良，善吞納姦貨栲直為曲，為此因緣，身羅憲網。或任邪治，領他財物，侵公益私，侵私益公，損彼利此，損此利彼，割他自饒，口與心悋。或竊沒租估偷度關稅，匿公稞輸藏隱使役。如是等罪今悉懺悔。

"From anādikāla up to the present day, we disciples have either stolen the treasures and wealth of others or raised blades to seize them by force; or, relying on our own physical strength, used coercion to take them; or, relying on official authority or taking advantage of power, put good and virtuous people into tall pillories and heavy fetters under false pretexts; or accepted corrupt bribes and tortured the upright, making right appear wrong, and through these causes and conditions, have been caught in the net of the law. Or holding corrupt office, we have misappropriated the wealth of others, encroaching on public goods to benefit our own, encroaching on private goods to benefit the state, harming others to benefit ourselves, harming this party to benefit that party, cutting into others to enrich ourselves, promising with our mouths while remaining stingy in our hearts. Or we have secretly embezzled rents and taxes, evaded customs duties, concealed public grain tributes, or evaded forced corvée labor. All such sins as these we now completely repent.
