"Bhikṣu, in those many worlds, in which worlds would that person place a fine dust mote, and in which worlds would he not place a fine dust mote? All those worlds, whether they had a fine dust mote placed in them or not, down to the water limit and up to Bhavāgra—bhikṣu, suppose a second person were to take those fine dust motes, and for as many Buddha lands as the number of those fine dust motes in those worlds—incalculable hundreds of thousands of myriads of koṭis of nayutas of worlds—he would pass that many worlds in a single step. Bhikṣu, that person would again pass as many worlds as the number of fine dust motes in a single step, and that person, traveling thus past hundreds of thousands of myriads of koṭis of nayutas of asaṃkhyeya kalpas, would only then deposit a single dust mote, and in this manner would exhaust all the fine dust motes. Bhikṣu, if all those many worlds, whether having had a dust mote placed in them or not, were filled completely with fine dust motes, and these were again placed throughout the worlds of the ten directions; bhikṣu, and passing beyond these worlds, whether having had a dust mote placed in them or not, all those worlds down to the water limit and up to Bhavāgra were filled completely with fine dust motes—bhikṣu, what do you think? Could the number of those fine dust motes be known?"
