19.14

“Śāriputra, if I were to abide in the world for kalpas numbering as many as those subtle particles of dust, speaking of those who share the same name Śākyamuni, I could never come to the end of them. In the same way, those who share the same name Dīpaṃkara Buddha, Dīpāyana Buddha, Dīpaprabhāsa Buddha, Sarvābhibhū Buddha, Mahāyaśas Buddha, Padmābhibhū Buddha, Vipaśyin Buddha, Śikhin Buddha, Viśvabhū Buddha, Krakucchanda Buddha, Kanakamuni Buddha, and Kāśyapa Buddha; all such [Buddhas] sharing the same names, down to attendants of different names, who presently exist in the world—I know them all now. You should revere and pay homage to them with single-minded devotion.”
