「又復無始已來，或攻城破邑，燒村壞柵，偷賣良人，詃他奴婢；或復抂押無罪之人，使其形沮，血刃身被徒鏁，家業破散，骨肉生離，分張異域，生死隔絕，如是等罪無量無邊，今日至誠皆悉懺悔。

"Furthermore, from beginningless time, we have attacked cities and destroyed towns, burned villages and demolished stockades, kidnapped and sold free people, seduced and abducted others' slaves; or falsely arrested and detained innocent people, causing them physical ruin, having their bodies subjected to bloody weapons and servitude in chains, their family livelihoods ruined and scattered, their flesh and blood separated in life, dispersed across distant lands, and severed from each other in life and death. Transgressions such as these are limitless and boundless; today, with utmost sincerity, we confess and repent them all.
