「如是諦觀九百九十九遍，然後復當想第二節。蓮華中有一紅色童子，持赤色藥散於髮間及遍身體一切毛孔，使赤色藥從薄皮入乃至於髓，使心下明，遍體漸漸軟。

"He contemplates in this way clearly nine hundred and ninety-nine times, and then visualises the second node. Within the lotus flower there is a red-coloured youth holding red-coloured medicine, which he sprinkles among the hair and into all the pores of the entire body, causing the red-coloured medicine to enter from the thin skin down to the marrow, making the area beneath the heart bright and the entire body gradually supple.
