2.22

「復次，舍利弗！若行者入火三昧，節節火焰，大腸、小腸一時火起燒動火脈。出定時，頭微微痛、諸脈掣縮、眼赤耳聾，因是發病當疾治之。

"Furthermore, Śāriputra! If a practitioner enters the fire samādhi, flames blaze from joint to joint, and fire flares up in the large and small intestines simultaneously, burning and agitating the fire channels. Upon emerging from samādhi, he has a slight headache, his channels contract and twitch, his eyes become bloodshot, and his ears go deaf. Since illness has arisen from this, it must be cured quickly.
