"The method for curing it is as follows: first, one should contemplate the two bodhisattvas, Bhaiṣajyarāja and Bhaiṣajyasamudgata, holding golden vases in their hands and taking the water to pour over him. Next, one should again contemplate the spirit king of the Snow Mountains holding a single white flower, going to where the practitioner is, and placing it over the crown of his head. White light flows in and moistens the pores of his body, which immediately become pliable, with no other abnormal signs. Then, one again sees Jīva Kumāra holding rishi flowers and scattering them over the practitioner; between each and every flower rain down various wonderful medicines that moisten the pores. All numbness, pain, and itching, all manner of sufferings and pains, sounds and whispered voices, and the various ghosts and spirits are completely and utterly exhausted without remainder.
