「爾時車匿見宮中地如頗梨色，表裏堅實猶如金剛，躡足無聲，疾至後厩被馬金鞍牽至殿前，車匿白太子言：『諸天顒顒合掌叉手，住在空中，同聲讚歎出家功德，太子宜時速疾乘馬。』

"At that time Chandaka saw the ground in the palace appear like the color of crystal, solid inside and out like vajra. Treading on it without making a sound, he swiftly went to the rear stables, harnessed the horse with a golden saddle, and led him before the hall. Chandaka addressed the Prince, saying: 'The devas, gazing reverently with palms joined and hands clasped, abide in empty space, praising with one voice the merit of going forth. It is time for the Prince to mount the horse swiftly.'"
