爾時父王及釋摩男、三億諸釋入佛精舍。當入之時見佛精舍如頗梨山，為佛作禮，未舉頭頃，即見佛前有大蓮華眾寶所成，於蓮華上有大光臺。父王見已心生歡喜歎未曾有，遶佛三匝却坐一面。

At that time, the royal father, Mahānāman, and three hundred million Śākyas entered the Buddha's vihāra. As they entered, they saw that the Buddha's vihāra was like a mountain of crystal. They paid homage to the Buddha; before they even raised their heads, they saw before the Buddha a great lotus flower formed of manifold jewels, and atop the lotus flower was a great dais of light. Having seen it, the royal father gave rise to joy in his heart, marvelling at what had never been before. He circumambulated the Buddha three times and sat back to one side.
