4.43

佛告阿難：「如是觀者名為正觀，若異觀者名為邪觀。佛滅度後佛諸弟子，憶想是者、思惟是者、觀是法者，除却二十萬億劫生死之罪，常生天上聞十善教。

The Buddha told Ānanda: "Practicing such contemplation is called right contemplation. If one contemplates otherwise, it is called wrong contemplation. After the Buddha's parinirvāṇa, those disciples of the Buddha who recall this, reflect upon this, and contemplate this phenomenon will eradicate the sins of birth and death spanning two million kalpas, will constantly be born in the heavens, and will hear the teachings on the ten wholesome deeds."
