6.21

爾時世尊於大眾中，即便起行足步虛空，父王觀見心甚歡喜亦隨佛行。佛舉足時足下千輻相輪，一一輪相皆雨八萬四千眾寶蓮華；一一蓮華復化八萬四千億那由他華；一一蓮華化為一臺；一一華臺一一華葉，遍覆十方無量世界；一一蓮華八萬四千葉，釋迦牟尼足步虛空悉雨寶華，如是眾華復有無量微塵數佛足步虛空。父王見已心大歡喜得阿那含，五體投地為佛作禮。時會大眾皆覩此事白佛：「世尊！十方世界無數化佛，何者真佛？誰是化佛？」

At that time, amidst the great assembly, the Bhagavat arose and walked, stepping into empty space. His father, the king, watched and his mind was exceedingly joyful, and he also followed the Buddha's walking. As the Buddha raised his feet, the thousand-spoked wheel marks beneath his feet each rained down eighty-four thousand jeweled lotuses. Each lotus blossom in turn transformed into eighty-four thousand billion nayutas of blossoms; each lotus blossom transformed into a platform; each flower platform and each flower petal completely covered immeasurable worlds of the ten directions; each lotus blossom had eighty-four thousand petals. Śākyamuni walked in empty space, raining down jeweled blossoms everywhere; from these blossoms there were further Buddhas, countless as dust motes, walking in empty space. Having seen this, his father, the king, was filled with great joy and attained the stage of anāgāmin; throwing his five limbs to the ground, he paid homage to the Buddha. The great assembly gathered at that time all witnessed this matter and addressed the Buddha: 'Bhagavat! Among the countless transformation Buddhas in the worlds of the ten directions, which is the real Buddha, and who are the transformation Buddhas?'
