6.3

爾時世尊說是語時，佛心力故，十種白光從佛心出，其光遍照十方世界，一一光中無量化佛乘寶蓮華。時會大眾見佛光明，如頗梨水或見如乳，見諸化佛從佛胸出入於佛臍，遊佛心間乘大寶船，經往五道受罪人所，一一罪人見諸化佛，如己父母善友所親，漸漸為說出世間法。是時空中有大音聲告諸大眾：「汝等今者應觀佛心，諸佛心者是大慈也，大慈所緣緣苦眾生。」

At that time, when the Bhagavat spoke these words, through the power of the Buddha's heart, ten kinds of white light issued from the Buddha's heart. Their light illuminated the worlds of the ten directions universally. In each light were immeasurable transformation Buddhas riding upon jeweled lotus flowers. The great assembly in the gathering at that time saw the Buddha's light as crystal water or saw it as milk; they saw the transformation Buddhas issuing from the Buddha's chest, entering into the Buddha's navel, roaming within the Buddha's heart, and riding upon great jeweled ships to journey through the five destinies to the places of sinners undergoing retribution. Each sinner saw the transformation Buddhas like their own parents, good friends, and relatives, who gradually expounded to them the supramundane Dharma. At that time, a great voice in the sky addressed the great assembly: "All of you now should contemplate the Buddha's heart! The heart of the Buddhas is great benevolence; that which great benevolence takes as its object is suffering sentient beings."
