爾時阿難偏袒右肩，合掌長跪白佛言：「世尊！佛說三十二相餘有一相，如來云何不顯說耶？」

At that time, Ānanda bared his right shoulder, joined his palms, knelt long, and said to the Buddha: “Bhagavat! The Buddha has spoken of the thirty-two marks, yet there remains one mark. Why has the Tathāgata not clearly expounded it?”
