9.26

爾時空中有無數佛皆現光明，身身毛孔中所出化佛如釋迦文，皆告阿難言：「法子！汝今持是觀佛三昧，廣為一切大眾分別，令諸凡夫種見佛因。」說是語已化佛不現。

At that time, countless Buddhas appeared in the sky, all manifesting light. The transformation Buddhas that emerged from every single pore of their bodies were like Śākyamuni. They all addressed Ānanda, saying: "Son of the Dharma! Now hold this buddhānusmṛti-samādhi and explain it extensively for the great assembly, causing ordinary beings to plant the cause for seeing the Buddha." Having spoken these words, the transformation Buddhas disappeared.
