9.27

爾時世尊為囑累此事故，住立空中威儀自在，作十八變顯一切光，告阿難言：「若有眾生欲觀佛者，當如此觀。」佛說此語時，十二億天子得念佛三昧，現前受記。

At that time, in order to entrust this matter, the Bhagavat stood in the sky with sovereign deportment, performed the eighteen transformations, displayed all lights, and addressed Ānanda, saying: "If there are sentient beings who wish to contemplate the Buddha, they should contemplate in this manner." When the Buddha spoke these words, one billion two hundred million sons of the gods attained the buddhānusmṛti-samādhi and received predictions in his presence.
