When this tree grows, its branches curve down to the earth, and beneath the ground it blossoms and bears fruit. Its fruit is golden in color, brightly blazing; moreover, its flowers and leaves never wither and fall. Equipped with ten colors, they reveal radiance and emit manifold musical sounds. When the eighth month of autumn arrives, it wells forth from the earth, three million four hundred and fifty thousand yojanas high. When the devas see it, their joy is extraordinary."
